Gnostic Church of Christ
Become Like Christ.
Bring Heaven to Earth.
We are a church without walls, building a community of seekers pursuing God through love, wisdom, and the living experience of Creation, with the teachings of Christ as our cornerstone.
Our path is lived in three movements, woven together like threads in a single cloth.
Gather
Discipleship
Small home groups who learn together, and a shared way of living well: healthy bodies, tended gardens, and care for the earth.
CONNECT
APOSTLESHIP
Building community: visiting other congregations and bringing neighbors together through gatherings, events, and shared projects.
SERVE
SANCTUARY
Restoring empty churches into living communities of service, skill, and shelter.
A church of seekers
Two Commandments hold everything together
At the heart of everything we believe are the two commandments Christ called the greatest: to love God with all your heart, and to love your neighbor as yourself. Every other belief we hold grows from these two roots.
We are a community of seekers who believe God is known not only through doctrine, but through love in action, through the patient pursuit of wisdom, and through the direct experience of Creation itself.
To seek God with all your heart is not a single decision. It is a way of living.
Our path is lived in three movements, woven together like threads in a single cloth.

WhAT IS A GNOSTIC?
Knowledge that is lived, not merely learned
The word Gnostic comes from the Greek gnosis, meaning knowledge. Not cold, intellectual knowledge, but living, experiential wisdom: a direct encounter with truth and a personal relationship with God through experience.
To be Gnostic is to seek God (wisdom) with all your heart and to trust that the search itself is sacred. We find God is all walks of life, and want to celebrate all we have in common while creating dialogue about finding common ground for any of our differences. We believe Creation itself is a revelation, and that wisdom and experience are among the truest ways we come to know God.
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Gospel of Matthew 7:7
Open to all, Anchored in christ
Universalist in spirit, Christ centered at the core
We are universalist in spirit. We welcome people from every walk of faith and every honest curiosity, whether you arrive from another tradition, from doubt, or from a lifetime inside the church. We believe rays of divine light shine through many windows, and we honor wisdom wherever it is found.
And we are clear about where we stand.
The teachings of Christ are our cornerstone, and the awakening of Christ Consciousness within each of us is the path we walk. Jesus is the light we follow and the supreme example of a human life fully united with God. All are welcome to seek alongside us, and it is his example that guides the search.
